We arrived on the scene at 11:00 AM to meet with Deborah Manzi. Our task today involved decisions on hardware placement in the heads along with carpet binding and design. We stayed until 4:30 PM.

We also considered the placement of the name on the transom. Our plan is to use the design that Diana created for the 48 Sundancer. Note: "Sarasota, FL" will replace "Chicago" as the hailing port.

Diana created the design for the boat's name |
However, it appears that this will present a bit of a challenge due to the transom's design. Notice in the photo below that the access door to the lazarette protrudes out and that the area to either side is convex. The name will centered in the transom, which means that part of the letters will reside on the door. We are meeting with the sign expert on Wednesday morning. Stay tuned.

We can also report that Kodi is entirely comfortable with
her new boat. First she approached the boat, which is secured to a fixed dock, and without hesitation jumped two feet onto the boat via the starboard aft boarding door. Then she proceeded to casually explore the boat including negotiating the stairwells down to the accommodations and up to the flybridge. Finally she made herself at home.

I too made myself at home.

It is beautiful, and so much fun to see you all at home.
