Construction: Week 45 - Appliances, AV Equipment & Engine Controls

Rarely have my predictions been even close to accurate on when something might be installed.  But last week I actually got one right when I predicted that the galley appliances would be installed this week (photo 10).  The yard also installed the equipment in the AV cabinet this week (photo 11).

There was also great progress in the pilothouse and, for a change, the equipment is uncovered so you can get a good look at the finished control station.  The pilothouse looks fabulous

Explanatory Note: Trash compactor story: The manufacturer shipped the wrong unit.  We had intended the compactor to have a stainless steel front.  The one shipped is designed for wood paneling.  Outer Reef offered us a choice.  They would re-order the correct unit or install teak paneling on the unit shipped.  We opted for the teak paneling as we think it will look better.
