Construction: Week 45 - Galley Close-ups

One of last week's significant events was the installation of the galley appliances.  It was also significant in that the week before I had accurately predicted their installation, which was unique given that my prediction record to date has not been so good.  That said, there was the single photo (below) of the galley which did not show the large list of items installed.

On Sunday I asked Mike if Howard Chiu would take a detailed set of galley photos so that we could see the galley layout with actual appliances.  Below are the close-ups.

The last photo (#8) allows you to see the view of the salon from the galley.  Standing in the galley we can easily converse with people in the salon and clearly see the 46" TV that pops up from the cabinet on the aft bulkhead.

The port side of galley, which starts underneath the flybridge stairwell, includes the wine cooler, the small pantry, GE Monogram refrigerator and the large pantry.  Taken altogether (port and starboard), the galley is a complete and functional kitchen with considerable storage capacity.
