Sea Ray 48 Sundancer

Guided Discovery in Charlevoix Michigan

The first boat named Guided Discovery was a 2006 48 Sea Ray Sundancer.  The name is a double entendre representing a teaching philosophy, that is the subject of Les' book (Training Effectiveness Handbook, McGraw-Hill 1995), and a name that suggests that the boat is guided by its owners to discover new and exciting places.

Guided Discovery in Chicago
The 48 is a beautifully designed express cruiser that enabled us to live aboard comfortably from May 1 to October 31 for three years while cruising Lake Michigan out of Chicago during the summer (2008 through 2010) and then year-around when we completed the Great Loop (October 2010 to September 2012).  The 48 has accommodations for two couples and adequate storage space.
