Construction: Week 39 - Sink, Rails & Overhead Cabinets

The photos came Thursday due to Friday being a Chinese holiday.  As always there is progress in almost every area as the project moves into the final weeks of completion, which is estimated to be the end of November.

Most significant this week is the progress in the galley and the engine room.  Enjoy the photos.


1. Starboard profile. 
Finish work on the fashion stripe
Stainless steel stanchions installed on the forward deck
2. Aft deck. 
Fiberglass support struts with whole for running drains.  Hole will be filled
Tape on the salon bulkhead suggests preparation for sink, water and storage cabinetry

3. Fiberglass work continues on the hardtop.  Seams still look rough
Installation perhaps in the next two weeks?
4. VIP SR.  No change

5. Guest SR.  No change

6. Master SR. Cabinetry for washer and dryer locker epoxied

7. Master SR looking aft. No change.  Surfaces are protected

8. Pilot house
Teak veneer being installed
Windshield wiper motors installed
Trap doors for wiper motor access (under shelf above windows)
Plumbing for windshield washers running up window mullions
Shelf and struts for overhead cabinetry housing electronic equipment

9. Pilot house
AC vent to the right of the worker's head
Veneer applied to the side of the settee

10. Galley
Overhead cabinets and sink installed
Cut-out for the GE Monogram cook top
Cabinetry for the microwave

11. Salon looking forward
Structure in place for recessed ceiling with stainless steel hand holds

12. Salon looking aft.  No change

13. Engine room looking forward
Stainless steel protection rails installed
Light switch in port bulkhead
