Another Perfect Day - Day 20 - Grand Rivers, KY

Friday's highlights.  We again walked into Grand Rivers with Kodi, relaxed under the gazebo overlooking Kentucky Lake, finished washing the boat (the port side of the hull), had dinner for the first time at Green Turtle Bay's Commonwealth Yacht Club, attended the play at the Bladgett Playhouse and enjoyed our 20th perfect weather day; that's right, CAVU, light winds and temperature in the 70s.

Kodi sat patiently as we enjoyed the beautiful scenery
Dinner at the Commonwealth Yacht club was spectacular and the dining room was on a par with the Chicago Yacht Club.  I had sushi quality peppercorn tuna.  The bill with tip was $60.  Unbelievable.

Following dinner, we walked to the theatre (about a mile) and received a call from Dakota (age 8) and her brother Nathanial (soon to be 6) checking on our progress.  I described the beautiful moon rise to Dakota and took a photo.

The play, Smoke in the Mountains, was a disappointment and we left after 20 minutes.  The good news is the tickets were only $19.99.  No big deal.  That said, the 350 seat playhouse was 90% full.  We learned that tour compaies bus church groups to Grand Rivers for dinner at Patti's and a night at the theatre.  Note: We were young as compared to the audience that evening.
